About Us:

Dearborn/Detroit area non-commercial, listener supported radio station. Broadcasting on 89.3fm and www.whfr.fm.

Only Detroit area station who's mission is specifically dedicated to supporting local and independent music.

Based at Henry Ford Community College, WHFR is a student and alumni staffed radio station.

Listen each week for the local live music show "Motor, Live Drive at Five". From 5-6pm each and every Thursday WHFR features a live local band in the WHFR studio. This live performance studio is fully equiped as a recording studio to showcase full ensembles and provide a weekly podcast available on our website of the live studio recording.
