About Us:

Earthbound was formed in the early '90s and produced a CD in 1995 containing high energy rock songs with strong melodic content and two distinctive singers.

The beginnings of the CD were started when Mark Kusmierz and Joe Purrenhage met Daryl Ropp and Kevin Mrak, each pair froming from a previous band with original songs needing to be finalized and recorded. Within 2 months of meeting the band performed their first show with the experience of their previous bands shining through.

Within 6 month after that first show, the band entered The Tempermil studio in Ferndale, MI outside of Detroit. The CD contains a split of songs from the early Earthbound band and the rhythm section's previous band The Mind along with an original jam. The songs were captured wonderfully by engineer Geoff Michael with additional percussion added by our friend Jeff.

Currently Mark and Joe are still creating new songs together, including Summer Life which is a new release of tracks recorded a while ago with Daryl and Kevin.
